I graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in 1982 after serving for four years in the US Army during the Vietnam War. I was then commissioned as an Army Dentist, where I served for the next four years. Having met my husband, Darrel,
also an Army dentist, we moved to Idaho, Darrel’s home state, in 1986, where we have worked together for over 25 years.
Darrel and I love living in Boise and enjoy all it has to offer, from biking and hiking in the foothills to connecting with friends and giving back to community. We have four wonderful children, seven even more amazing grandchildren and of course, a dog and a cat.
Several years ago, Darrel and I had the opportunity to take a four month sabbatical and ride a tandem bike across the US from Washington State to Washington DC (over 4000 miles) for Wounded Warriors. Thanks to many of you, we were able to raise over $100,000.00 for a cause that went directly to many individual wounded warriors and their families. Our love of connecting with others and giving back to our community drives our desire to continue doing what we know best:

Being a hygienist the last 20 years has taught me so much about taking care of people far beyond just their teeth. Watching and learning from Dr. Roseann, I have been compelled to return to school in order to learn more, be better, and serve more fully in the dental profession. I currently am attending dental school at Roseman University in South Jordan, Utah with a planned graduation of Spring 2026 with my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Although my husband and my three cute children are enjoying our new adventure in Utah, we are looking forward to returning to the community and the serving the people we love there in the Treasure Valley after graduation.
